The inert materials produced during mining (CaCO3), in most cases are disposed inside the galleries, while prior to any commencement of mining activity an Environmental Impact Assessment Study is performed which is later approved by the relevant authorities and then is followed strictly by the company. Our environmental management system includes all the stages of our operations, from geo - research to mining and transportation up to processing and loading. Pollutant and noise measurements are monitored daily and corrective actions are taken when necessary. Committed to it's environmental policy, certification as per ISO 14001 en , ISO 14001 gr is at ELMIN's straightforwardly plans. After all environmental care contributes to our long term success.
